Animal Farm by George Orwell

*What is the major theme of this novel? why is this theme important to a teenager living in 2008?
The major theme of this novle is, the problem of the politicians, the process of communism.
Teenagers living in 2008 doesn't know what is communism. They just heard about it is not good. So some teenagers have wrong view of communism. Some teenagers doesn't think about communism is bad. This novel make me think again what result that communism made.
Problems of politicians. These are endless problems. I have never heard about good politician in the morden community. They always act like a hero who can solve all the problems in community. But they make really big problems. And teenagers are the people who will lead future society.
These are why those themes are important to teenagers living in these days.

This post is thoughtfully done. I also read this novel, and my opinion is exactly same as yours. I like the way your reasons why teenagers should read Animal Farm and I totally agree with you. It could have been better if you put some more details about political problems and some examples. Anyway, good work!

You wrote really well Young.

I agree with you. Teenagers these days have incorrect view of the politics. I think they should know the truth of the politics and make the world better in the future.
